Due to the current federal and state emergency declarations, the Minnesota directive to residents to stay at home, and guidance about limiting person-to-person contact due to the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings of the Onamia Public School Board will be conducted in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 13D.021 – Meetings by Telephone or Other Electronic Means.
Due to the health pandemic, the Onamia School Board has determined that it is not feasible for school board members or members of the public to attend at the regular location.
Persons may monitor the meetings from a remote location by Google Hangouts Meet. You can join the meeting from a computer, mobile device or tablet. If you are joining from a mobile device or tablet you can download the “Hangouts Meet by Google” app. The monthly board meetings will continue by Google Hangout as long as needed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a courtesy, all those attending are reminded to mute their microphone or phone when they are not speaking. This eliminates any unnecessary background noise.
PUBLIC MEETING ACCESS: Contact Shannon at firstname.lastname@example.org by 2pm on the date of the board meeting to receive the access code to either view the meeting or listen by phone.
PUBLIC COMMENTS: Contact Shannon at email@example.com by 12pm on the date of the board meeting with the comment you would like present to the board during the meeting.
