New Student Drop Off Procedures Issued

To All Parents and Guardians of Onamia School Students:

 

For the 2017-2018 school year, student drop off routes at the schools have changed from the past.  This model needs to be followed to ensure the best safety practices for all students. 

 

1.     For STUDENTS THAT RIDE THE BUS TO SCHOOL: Only buses will be allowed to drop students off in front of both the High School and Elementary School doors between the hours of 7:55am – 8:30am

2.     For STUDENTS THAT ARE BEING DROPPED OFF BY PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Those students will need to be dropped off on the EAST side of the main parking lot at the crosswalks and use the crosswalks to enter the schools.  Staff will be directing students across the parking lot at the designated crosswalks to ensure safety for all of our students.  Parents/Guardians are to exit the parking lot by using the South exit as done in the past.

3.     For STUDENTS THAT DRIVE TO SCHOOL: Those vehicles are to use the North Lot and parking permits will be mandatory.  There will be no student parking by the Band/Choir Room or by the Tech Rooms. Parking passes are available in the High School Office and will be $10.00.  Please purchase these asap.  Thank you.
